After 25 years as a graphic designer and art director
in New York City, Steve moved into a country home in
the Hudson Valley where he could follow his passion,
wood art.

His father, a cabinet maker, passed his love for woodcraft and fine carpentry to Steve, who early on created fine wooden instruments and furniture. Now Steve is building on years of fine art and graphic arts experience to create his museum quality pieces.

He teaches privately and gives seminars in woodturning and design for clubs throughout the United States.

His work has been published in Woodturning design magazines in Europe and the USA and he has won prizes in juried shows. His art resides in galleries and private collections.
